We adopted our daughter Macie and our son Nicholas through the foster care system of Florida. We welcomed Macie home at age 2 yrs 2 mos in February 2007 and adopted her in December 2007. Nicholas came into our life at the end of March 2008, at the age 2 yrs 9 mos, and we adopted him in June 2008. They immediately formed a strong bond with each other and even though they are not related by blood, they couldn’t be closer as brother and sister. This shows a typical day in our life and they keep me entertained on a daily basis.

Video and pictures of our first few days with our new daughter in China.We adopted Norah from China’s waiting child program just before she turned four. She is profoundly deaf, and we are teaching her to sign, as well as taking her to speech therapy. The special needs / waiting child has blessed our family. this little girl is defiantly a bright spot in our lives. We don’t know if she will ever be able to talk with her voice, only time will tell. Still as you can see she has know problem getting her point across to her mom and dad. You are perfect to us Dear Norah.
