Children’s books about step-parent adoption?
I am trying to find books to read to my three-year-old to help her understand that the daddy she has now is not the one that she was born with. Every children’s book I come up with about Adoption is about a child being adopted by both parents. Does anyone know of any good kid’s books about step-parent adoption?
Check with your local library and see what they can find. You might also want to check some of the book stores/websites. Do a search for step-parents or something along that line.
No, sorry, but this site might help – http://www.steptogether.com – Its a site that has a message board for step and bio parents involved in step relationships to chat and get advice – so maybe post it there and see if anyone there has had that issue
