Good Parenting

What are some good parenting techniques?

How can two people who disagree on everything ever pull together to be parents?

  1. The two people have to compromise to find a solution they can both live with.

  2. you have to decide together what is acceptible behavior from your children. make sure you both reinforce behavior limits. (1-2-3 Magic) aside from that each of you make a list of what is important and rank them from high to low… try to allow eachothers most important attributes (church, homework time, chores) and then weed out the ones you DEFINATELY cant agree on. if talking about touchy subjects, write out why its important to you and let the other person read, contemplate and then counter the offer… at that point it’s all about compromise.

  3. That is something that should have been all squared away *before* children came into the picture. For 2 people like this, i’d honestly say that family counseling is an absolute MUST. no tips on here are going to work unless the 2 parents involved have an open communication and know how to compromise.
