Hi Cabbage,
We have posted a new Youtube of Jairus so that you can see for yourself how active the little man is. He just had palate repair surgery and will have another surgery in Sept. His foot is another surgery. It will be brought together so that it has a more normal appearance.
He is such a gentle little boy. We are the ones blessed.
Thanks for stopping by!
His cleft palate is …
His cleft palate is not so obvious. But are the missing toes going to affect his walking? He will be alright now, though, with such a wonderful family. Yeah, I have seen the poem in the book “Long Road to Motherhood” by Emily Buchanan. It says everything really. Love comes in all forms and Jarius birth mother certainly loves him and would want the best for her son. You have stepped in and help that poor lady’s dream come true.

Our precious Jairus …
Our precious Jairus was born with a cleft lip and palate and only 2 toes on his left foot. There are other boys in China with special needs who need to find their families. Thank you for visiting us. That poem at the end was actually given to us by the orphanage staff at the same time that they placed Jairus in our arms….neat, huh!.
