I need help on getting in contact with adoption agencies?
I have tried several times on given up my baby for adoption here in the internet,but people keep telling me to go to Adoption agencies.I do not want it to take a long process before my baby gets old with me as she is already 6months old.please help
I’m sure you’re feeling vulnerable but if you are giving your baby up, the LAST place you want to do it on is the internet, didn’t you read the last question about the group should be illegal. Well Read it.
Your baby is already 6 months old and she is YOUR baby, she would find it hard to bond with anyone else. How could you possibly give your baby up for adoption? I’m sure she’s happiest with you. DO NOT GIVE YOUR BABY UP FOR ADOPTION, you will regret for the rest of your life and your baby probably won’t thank you for leaving her.
If I haven’t convinced you and you still want to give your baby up for adoption (i.e abandon your baby) then DO NOT do it over the internet, There are plenty of couples looking to adopt in America (or pretty much any other country in the world). Do not do it on the internet if you want the best for your baby, Perverts, pedophiles and child molesters will try their easiest way to get a baby through munipilating you.

The first question I need to know is WHY do you want to give up your baby. I had my son at 16 and many said I wasn’t ready. I wasn’t, but I made it. I have my son still and I graduated from college.
You need to make the decision for YOU not for others. If you truly want to give up your child you need to look at adoption agencies such as Catholic Charities.

LOOk giving your child away in the internet is like going on a busy street and giving the child to the first woman you see!!
If you cannot look after your baby, fine but dont you think she deserves good parents? Who are prescreened and are FIT to look after your baby?
And it’s not very hard to look for adoption agencies… just type your state and adoption agencies on google and you’ll have plenty of results.
And how about Child Services?? Have you contacted them???

At six months old, your baby is already bonded to you. If you give that baby to strangers, I have no doubt that she will spend the next few months screaming for you before she finally succumbs to depression and turns into a troubled youth. I hope you come to your senses and realize that giving her away would be the biggest mistake of your life. Grow up, you’re a parent now.

I know sometimes going through agencies and social services seams so impersonal… I totally agree. Here is a website where you can find answers yourself with the help of others and a place to find what you are looking for… http://groups.yahoo.com/group/MyPrivateAdoption/
There are people there who are in the process of adoption and other looking to adopt… Each states and country is different but you can find help there.
